Cat Scratcher Box

A low, square plywood tray filled with corrugated cardboard strips standing on edge, so the cut flutes make the scratching surface. The front edge carries a small cat face and the cat's name.

The plywood was ripped on the table saw and assembled into a tray. We printed a small cutting guide to slice shipping boxes into even strips, then packed the strips in by hand. The cat face started as a marker drawing.

Materials
Plywood, recycled corrugated cardboard
Process
Table saw, 3D printed cutting guide, hand assembly
